The Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) was established in 1976 as a joint investment of Jordanian, Kuwaiti and Arab investors. The bank's mission is to provide quality banking and financial services to its clients.

Today, all the activities of the bank are automated and the latest technologies are used for transactions and other services. This enables the bank to offer online stock trading/real time inter-branch communications, banking via SMS, SWIFT, ATMs, phone banking, Internet banking and mobile banking to its customers. Presently, the management of the bank is focusing on developing new credit programmes by increasing its participation in syndicated loans and enlarging the scope of other direct and indirect credit activities. The bank has also been active in supporting small businesses by providing soft loans at reduced interest rates.

The bank believes that in the near future it will play an important role in the development of the national economy. Therefore, it continually seeks opportunities to liaison with international corporations that execute major projects in the country.

KIPCO - Work And Beyond

In its endeavor to reach out to all members of the local community, and in line with its corporate social responsibility, in addition to providing monetary support to the Mabarrat Um Al Hussein orphanage, JKB sponsored the Diplomatic Bazaar that was held under the patronage of HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal of Jordan at Al Hussein Youth City in Amman.

More than 55 diplomatic missions took part in this popular annual event, offering their national products, handicrafts and foods with proceeds from the bazaar benefiting the orphans at Mabarrat Um Al Hussein.
