The Tunis International Bank (TIB) was established in June 1982 as a fully licensed banking corporation. In October 1997, the United Gulf Bank acquired 48% of the bank's issued capital. Subsequently, this ownership has increased to 70%.

Presently, TIB provides a comprehensive range of international financial services for corporations, financial institutions, and individuals and governments, both in Tunisia and in other countries.
